An aircraft transporting the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, according to an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane landed in accordance with established safety measures and everyone onboard, including Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative said in a public statement.
