The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile backers when she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He practically told me to go out there and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.
Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Officials stated that involving Kai brings the sport to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.
The young star boasts millions of followers and has started a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
