The head of state conducted a visit to speak to national troops in the eastern front on the weekday. Zelenskyy announced that he met with fighters at the operational headquarters of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately 12 miles from the focal point.

Volatile Circumstances in the Area

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project indicated that invading troops had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it remained beyond firm control by both forces.
